Nabi specializes in the forensic structural investigation of buildings and the design of retrofitting schemes for damaged or under-designed structures. In the course of his career, Nabi has conducted structural assessments of existing steel, concrete, masonry and wood buildings under gravity loading, vibration and seismic forces. He has also designed steel and concrete structures, including high-rise residential and office towers, commercial retail units, and long-span steel trusses. Nabi holds a MSc. in Earthquake Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Alberta.
Sean is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and to date has performed over 170 fire and explosion investigations.. He also has a background as an Emergency Services Professional with 24 years of experience, specializing in Environmental Health and Safety, Structural Fire Investigation, and emergency medical responses. He served as a Firefighter/Acing Captain at Winnipeg Airports Authority and currently a Captain and Fire Investigator with the Selkirk Fire Department, he is skilled in working under pressure and collaborating in high-stress situations.
Martin is a licensed professional engineer specializing in electrical engineering and fire investigation. With more than 15 years of experience, he has performed over 700 fire investigations as well as electrical failure analyses, site reviews and code consultations. Martin is qualified as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Adam specializes in structural forensic investigation and holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Alberta. He is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario, BC, Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, PEI, and Nova Scotia. To date, Adam has investigated over 800 structural losses and has been qualified as an expert in structural engineering three times in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Adam’s background includes work as a structural engineer providing service for new building construction, personal fall arrest systems, roll-over protection systems, structural assessments, repairs, and failure investigations. He also has experience teaching engineering labs and conducting research on building envelopes, structural health monitoring, and masonry walls at the University of Alberta.
